There is all this talk about government healthcare in the Obama news and how great everything will be when we finally give him (and Pelosi) the reins to run with it. They know best, what to do, how to do it. They can’t tell us HOW they’re going to throw 47 million more people smoothly into the mix, or HOW we’ll pay for it. No one has read the thousand-plus pages of DELIBERATE legalese double-talk because it makes no sense to anyone that TRIES to read it. Obama/Pelosi can’t explain it because they don’t know WHAT they are going to do! THEY HAVE NO PLAN! It’s just “trust us - we’ll figure it out as we go.” You just “believe” and commit to us many hundreds of billions of dollars. The little WE DO KNOW, or could glean from this gobbledygook, stinks to high heaven! The deliberate gibberish hides government paid for abortions and medical insurance for illegals without “saying” it. Obama looked absolutely foolish when that college guy asked him directly, “Will your public government plan drive out private insurance companies?” Without a script or a teleprompter Obama is exposed to slow, plodding responses. He can’t think on his own - he smiles and usually says, “That’s an excellent question,” and stalls and tries to recall stated (teleprompter) responses from before. He’s reduced to cliches and politician double speak. It is almost painful to watch. Then out comes some asinine statement (on the world stage) like his comparison of the Post Office, Fed-Ex and UPS. The hugely supportive audience was deathly quiet after his feeble, inane response, and anything but an adoring media would have ripped him to shreds. His example of Fed-Ex and UPS competing very well with the U.S. Post Office I’m not even going to elaborate on, because I know YOU KNOW the government-run Post Office is a perpetual failure. But there is NO WAY that a “brilliant” mind blurts out a statement like that. And I keep hearing how “brilliant” he is - “incredibly smart” - based on what? He is a charming eloquent orator or speaker - that is all. This was just his latest gaffe in recent weeks. But this was such an OBVIOUS question to have been prepared for (with all the furor at these Town Halls, before his) that it stands out as “extra” ridiculous. But (again) it shows that this man cannot think on his feet - no spontaneity, and his grasp (how doctors “make their money”) is revealing and amusing. In his attempts to vilify “greedy” doctors he shows unbelievable ignorance. Like, if a doctor is treating repeated sore throats, Obama says the doctor says “You know what, I make a lot more money if I take this kids tonsils out.” Therefore they opt to put the patient under the knife. He said it - so it must be so. What a nasty (and stupid) thing for a President to say. Well, he’s not stupid so there must have been a REASON to say something so mean and outrageous. The Doctor that treats sore throats makes his/her money TREATING sore throats. If that Doctor refers the patient to a surgeon to remove the tonsils - the surgeon makes the money. If tonsils were the problem the first doctor (of sore throats) has now “lost” a money-maker. How STUPID, if you’re in it FOR THE MONEY. But why the vicious insinuation by Obama to direct your anger toward that “throat” Doctor? Ignorance or brilliance? Or just a deliberate lie, not well-thought out, to turn you against the program that “is,”and “to sell” his. Then he blunders further when he attacks doctors again, with this gem about obesity causing Diabetes. Not much money can be made in preventative care like weight loss, monitoring their diet and medications, and such. “For these, Family Care Physicians get reimbursed a pittance. So these people end up getting their foot amputated, that’s $30,000, $40,000, $50,000. IMMEDIATELY the Surgeon is reimbursed.” So now, these monsters are chopping off feet for instant financial reward! Where in hell is the media to expose such idiotic accusations? The Doctor TREATING the diabetic is NOT THE SURGEON that amputates! The Surgeon “makes” $700-$1200 for surgery (and 90 days care). But don’t let truth and facts get in the way of a good story! And by the way, the government, Mr. President, sets the fees for reimbursement in Medicare and Medicaid to all doctors.
I didn’t want to use this much space on healthcare but it’s so debated and important I want to outline what I think would “clean up” the EXISTING way we are doing things for the 80+% that are at least somewhat happy. To get the government into the mix as an insurer is absolutely OUT! FIRST you FIX WHAT YOU HAVE - what people like and want, to the best of your ability. Government can “oversee” 1300 private insurers (as a whole) only to be sure they have and maintain WIDEOPEN COMPETITION THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY (no state lines), and none become “too big” to fail. Government should select many of the finest minds (to meet together) from Medicine, Nutrition, and Healthcare, and “pick the brains” of the efficiently run Mayo and Cleveland Clinics, and (any and all) successfully run programs and hospitals. START right there! Get all those “that know” TOGETHER (no politicians allowed) to put a PLAN together, that addresses ALL the problems, and NEEDS from everyone’s point of view, and is fair (financially) to all, starting with the People and Taxpayers. Everyone in that room will know where the snags are, who is making out and who’s being “screwed.” Lock them up like a sequestered jury to battle it out, until they come up with a short-term plan (quick fix) and a long-term plan, with goals and preventative care to include EDUCATION IN NUTRITION. Do it for the GOOD OF THE COUNTRY and make OUR Healthcare the ENVY OF THE WORLD!
Now for MY common sense “fixes” that Congress and Obama have NO INTEREST in (unless you’re wealthy lobbyists). First and second (in no particular order) is to REPEAL Bush’s asinine drug bill (that big pharma loves) AND put serious caps on MALPRACTICE SUITS that trial lawyers love! Now take a deep breath - that just SAVED A MASSIVE amount of money, and COULD be done with just a stroke of the pen. 2 strokes. IF they cared! Since they DON’T and they WON’T, because these huge expenses “sell” their government option and “takeover” plans. But for what it’s worth I’ll continue with my third common sense fix. That is our highly expensive MISUSE of emergency rooms by millions of Illegal Aliens. (our poor “citizens” have Medicaid). Almost all of these E.R. needs are of a nature that a much simpler (far less expensive) Medical Service could serve JUST as well (across the street) from EVERY E.R. in high population centers. I’ll bet 90% could be done simply by those with basic training skills that I learned (in 3 months) as a Medic in the Army. And, as I’ve said it would create tons of jobs - which is also important. Plus, it has to be good to know that there are hundreds of thousands more people (amongst us) knowledgeable in basic emergency and healthcare in today’s world. One last observation that I want to mention. I am not enamored with our private insurers either but after seeing government takeovers in so much of what used to be “private industries” I cringe when I see (again) our government (through Congressman Henry Waxman) demanding to know where, and how they spend all their “ill-gotten” gains. It’s none of the government’s damned business! You might like to decide WHAT is right and wrong, or WHO is right and WHO is wrong, but WHO GAVE “YOU” THE RIGHT to be the decision maker? And who draws the lines as to how far you can go? That is why you don’t even open the door. Most CERTAINLY NOT the government! The lines may be somewhat blurred IF they accepted taxpayer’s money, but no way does the government have any say otherwise. Besides, THIS government just wants the POWER. It doesn’t care about the taxpayer’s money! Keep that in mind, come the next elections! This time, be there IN FORCE. Show ACORN what REAL organization is, and what happens when good people get mad!
How about the “Hero’s Welcome” that Libyan (piece of scum) Terrorist got when he debarked the plane in Libya? That cowardly animal was RELEASED by the Scottish Government on “COMPASSIONATE Grounds” for cripes sake. He TORE APART 270 families with his (just before Christmas) bomb and his 8 years in prison amounted to about ELEVEN DAYS served for each slaughtered innocent sole! 189 were Americans. Show HIM compassion? I would say to cross Scotland off your list of places to visit for anyone considering it. But where was our wishy-washy President? Certainly NOT being Presidential. The American People are outraged - but not their “leader.” He embarrasses America for being wimpy (in the Mid-East’s eye) once again. If he had told Scotland, “If you let him go and show us up, you will regret it”, I would feel differently. But that isn’t who he is. He called it, “a mistake.” WOW! No kidding? Obama apologizes to the world, and shames us repeatedly.
Billions to Brazil to drill for offshore oil and create Brazilian jobs. Now THERE is “change you can believe in.” That’s our President! No Billions to drill offshore here or in Alaska to cut Arab dependency and create jobs for Americans. Hell no! It’s one more payback. This time it is for extreme environmentalists getting him elected, along with ACORN, the Unions, trial lawyers, etc. If America goes down the tube, so be it. You MUST take care of your “friends.” Any regrets America? But something else rears its ugly head here in this strange disclosure. The very profitable oil company in Brazil is “Petrobras.” George Soros (far-left Billionaire and strong supporter of Obama) with connections also to ACORN and the (bad) Tides Foundation, has a large financial position in Petrobras, that he repositioned, just a FEW DAYS BEFORE Obama’s announcement (to get paid dividends). Another payback possibly? Or am I just too cynical? For the administration of this country to ignore OUR need to drill for oil and natural gas, in our destitute economic state, and our people in desperate need of jobs, is incomprehensible AND
indefensible. We NEED the RESOURCES. We NEED the JOBS. We NEED to reduce dependency on people who HATE us! Where is the Outrage? Where is the media? Are they a BAD joke, or what?
David Axelrod is “Senior Advisor” to the president. He gave up (sold) his position as president and sole shareholder of “AKPD Message and Media” (an Ad Agency) to do so. The agency owes Axelrod $2 million. His son still works at AKPD. Another Ad Agency “GMMB Campaign Group”, (with AKPD) got $343 million (that’s a bunch) for advertising last year on bama’s campaign. This year the two agencies have received $12 million (so far) to sell Obama’s healthcare, most of which has come from “PhARM”, the Big Drug rep. that Obama just made his secret agreement with. The one where (for concessions) PhARM would spend $150 million on advertising to promote Obama’s healthcare plan. So, hello AKPD, and it would seem they will have no problem paying Axelrod the $2 million they owe him. And his son Michael would seem to be secure in HIS job at AKPD, since many millions more are surely headed their way. Hey, it’s probably nothing but my paranoia acting up again. They say there is nothing improper going on here, so it must be me. But I thought I would pass this info on to you for your perusal, like the Brazilian oil, George Soros tidbit. I saw Howard Dean and Bill Frist on Larry King Saturday night. At the very end Larry asked them what they thought about the “Cash for Clunkers.” Frist said he hated to part with his old “91 (whatever it was) but couldn’t turn down $6,000 of free government cash so he bought a Prius. Dean chided him and said he used HIS free money to buy “American.” It got me wondering about how many Congress people bought cars with that “free” giveaway that THEY voted for? And since it was $4,500, but Frist got $6,000 - was that another “special” for special people? Just wondering, for all of us that just financed it.
What do you think about the Prison in little Standish Michigan (just over an hour from Grayling) maybe housing those 229 Muslim Terrorists from Guantanamo Bay? Obama wants to improve Michigan’s awful unemployment rate - thanks a lot. Why don’t we drill for our known oil and natural gas reserves? Instead we get to house the Scum of the Earth. I shudder to think of an organized attack on that prison by Muslim Terrorists to release their brethren. They could then (all of them) run around America in pursuit of their “72 virgins.” It just so happens that Michigan has the largest concentration of Muslims in the U.S. (which has over 8 million). The Detroit area (mostly Dearborn and Hamtramck) has the 2nd largest Muslim population (Paris is
#1) outside of Muslim-run countries. Paris has violence nightly in those communities. Talal Chahinne (owner of 15 restaurants) fled to Lebanon to evade Federal charges (in 2006) of evading taxation and giving $20 million to Terrorist Hezbollah. You can bet more sympathizers are active. Muslims rule the City Council of Hamtramck. Dearborn’s population is predominantly
Muslim. Their Al Mabarat “charitable organization” has also been named in funding Hezbollah. 3,500 Muslims in July 2006 marched in SUPPORT of Terrorist Hezbollah shouting, “Jews are diseased!” al-Qaeda and Hamas and other Terrorist groups are also supported. All this is stewing and growing and 2 hours from Standish! Ask yourself why there is virtually no media
coverage? I THINK this should be of utmost concern! It’s deplorable that our Attorney General is digging up those old Bush interrogation techniques again and oblivious to something as threatening and obvious as this. Again, it’s not a question IF - but when! There was an incident in 2007 in Dearborn when Houssein Zorkot, a resident Muslim was arrested in Hemlock Park, carrying an AK-47 assault rifle, and dressed in black clothing, with camouflage paint covering his face. We, as a Nation, as a State should be VERY attentive. I KNOW something bad is coming. More next week.

Senator John McCain ran a terrible campaign against Obama last year. Obama had a well organized team and program and a massive unscrupulous Army of Rabble-Rousers in ACORN. The government of two parties funds this scurrilous group that works for only ONE party. That’s a really unfair advantage in man hours and undisclosed financial support. Add the fact that Obama had twice the donated funds that McCain got, to flood the T.V. stations and print media with propaganda, and you could say he pretty much bought the Presidency. It certainly was NOT a fair or level playing field. That is why we need a law that limits how much total money can be spent, and both candidates get the same amount. Any excess goes into reducing the National Debt, or some noble cause. You’ll still get lots more “favorable” articles or T.V. coverage (gratis) by the left-leaning media, but I guess there’s only so much you can clean things up.
I bring up all this “old news” to point out how lots and lots of money, and an unconscionable media working together, will trample truth and right every time, if it wants to. Just bombard the populace (day and night) on the Boob Tube, and all but the most steadfast, will become worn down, or somewhat doubtful of their previous position, through time and persistence. It is a ploy commonly used right out of ACORN’s handbook. They are professional persuaders. They train for this. We do not. In fact we trust the media that is now shamelessly working for just one side. Our “transparent” President has cut another deal behind closed doors that maybe Pelosi hasn’t even been apprised of. That would be a blow to her ego! It seems that Obama and the big drug industry have “come to an agreement” where PhRMA will spend $150 Million this fall for T.V. ads to “sell” Obama’s health care over and over, and run the “Mobs” out of town. At least that’s the plan. One way or another he has endless money to back him, the media in his pocket, and an array of players that intimidate, and are very clever. Trained to be clever, untrained (rightly concerned) Americans that know right from wrong, and know that something is seriously wrong, and right now, are overmatched by many “clever” people. But our numbers are great. So is our cause!
Obama’s Town Hall meeting in New Hampshire had 11 year old, Julia Hall ask the President about the signs outside, saying mean things “about his healthcare proposal. How do kids know what is true, and why do people want a new system that can – that help more of us?” That opened the door for Obama and he said, “I don’t want people saying I just have a bunch of plants in here.” Of course they were “randomly” selected and Julia’s mother just happened to have campaigned heavily for Obama, and donated thousands to him. So did her law firm. Just random common folk getting a chance to be on T.V. And wasn’t Obama’s T.H. meeting nice and orderly? Tickets were distributed by the White House in advance, questions submitted in advance and Obama selected questioners he wanted – but no plants? This was another Obama infomercial, that got a standing ovation at the end. Protesters outside waited 5-6 hours (in the rain) before Obama demonstrators arrived (on busses) when he went to Montana. There it was “first come, first served” seating and a huge throng of democrats arrived way early. Organized? Montana is a big “guns” state. A man stood up and said he was a proud member of the N.R.A. (National Rifle Association) and about 4 people (out of the hundreds there) clapped. It might have been a stacked deck. The ones that would have clapped were outside in the rain – no room. Another slick professional move. Slick professionals that we have to constantly watch and be fearful of are not right for America. There is a bill now to repeal term limits being introduced. Boughten votes then could give us 30 years of Obama. Is that prospect scary enough?
Remember Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee’s Town Hall when she took a phone call while a question was asked? Her next Town Hall had her gushing over a “Doctor” Roxana Mayer supporting Obama’s plan. Mayer is NOT a doctor. She is studying at the University of Houston for a degree in Social Work – where Rep. Lee’s husband Elwyn Lee is Vice-Pres. For Student Affairs. Gee, do you think she was a plant? A LYING plant, selling fertilizer? Mayer was also a staunch Obama supporter last Fall. She said she was invited by Maria Isabel who is an admirer of Che Guevara who was a Cuban Communist Rebel murdered in 1967. Isabel is an even stauncher supporter of Obama – and Communist Revolutionaries! I like to analyze who people “hang out” with. Isabel and Mayer, just “happened” to be seated together in the front row, convenient for “hugs” in front of the cameras, with Congresswoman Jackson-Lee. Don’t we see a lot of strange connections, with people of very questionable pasts, and very active, powerful, questionable “today’s”, entwined with our President, his programs, and his “staff?”
Good Ole Nancy Pelosi. She called Americans who drowned out opposing views because they’d heard enough, and wanted to be heard themselves, at those Town Hall meetings, UN-American.” In 2006, in front of a frenzied crowd (taking her side of course) she encouraged them shouting, “I’m a fan of disrupters!” She said she drew great inspiration from Franklin Roosevelt – A Disrupter – people with courage – who make change. ”I understand your anger.” Didn’t you love all those old film clips that prove what shifty liars most of our Congress people are? They flat-out deny everything right up to the exposé, then say it was out of context or something equally stupid. If he wasn’t so destructive, Barney Frank’s antics and reversals would be an absolute scream. It’s unbelievable that they put him in charge of anything. If he was Republican, the media would follow him around like vultures, and eat him for lunch.
Congress has decided (after public outrage maybe?) to pare their $550 Million order of 8 Luxury jet planes down to 3. That is hardly re-assuring, because that “Luxury Jet Mentality” or entitlement is deeply ingrained with this bunch. It will just resurface shortly in many other forms. They can’t help themselves. Sometimes they just “reach” for too much, too fast, and get their hands slapped. It is hard (with their greed) to pace themselves, and spread it out.
It seems easily forgotten that our founders drew up the Constitution and its Amendments for the purpose of restricting government, NOT the people! Someone needs to inform the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union). I swear, every time they’re in the news, it is ANTI-American. They should be the AACLU. They sure do have a problem with God, public schools and the Boy Scouts, while showing great affinity for Terrorists’ rights and Illegal Aliens. They are a lot like ACORN, in as much as American taxpayers are paying them to be a pain in their a__! Two school officials are under ACLU attack for “saying Grace” before a meal in a Florida Public School, after hours, all adults in attendance. Those two people are potentially facing 6 months in prison, $5,000 fines and loss of pensions of 30 and 40 years of service. Is this country going insane? I think our Fore Fathers would have shot the ACLU “dead” in the streets! We have Muslim schools here in America. They seemingly pray all the time and we know it’s not all pro-American. Don’t tell me they don’t pray in their schools. Where is the ACLU? Afraid they might get their heads handed to them? It’s a lot like PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) when they go to asinine extremes on fish or insects. Most everyone loves dogs. Many Koreans love “to eat” dogs. But I don’t think there are any vocal PETA Chapters in North Korea. When one wants to speak out loudly, with indignation or outrage, choose your countries well. I remember when Ahmadinejad, (President of Iran) exhorted, “There are no Homosexuals in Iran!” Now, that COULD be true….
The government wants you to e-mail them IF you see something “fishy” (out there) regarding possible “misinformation” about Obama’s healthcare plan. They want to “correct” any possibly misunderstood parts or misconceptions, or clarify their intentions. Forgive me, but I’ll stay focused on what I know. I know that all those I’m nervously watching came from “back alley, anything goes” politics of Chicago and Illinois. I know that if you turn in someone you judge to be possibly “fishy”, the D.C./Chicago crowd will have two e-mail identification lists. One is of those “helpful”, and two is, those problematic, to “the cause”. This one, or future causes. Maybe I’m too suspicious. But if I found myself (heaven forbid) in a back alley in Chicago, I wouldn’t anticipate a “fair” fight. People (hundreds) have recently been contacted by e-mail from the White House, promoting the Healthcare plan. From where did D.C. obtain these addresses? The people didn’t contact the White House previously. Is this a Big Brother alarm indicator of how much they already have on file? Will there be D.C. “spam” and propaganda coming? Do they monitor our computer activities? Can they? Why did only Fox News find this newsworthy? If Bush had done it, would the media have cared then?
Aren’t Stimulus Funds supposed to “create” jobs for those out of work? $360 Million of stimulus funds were given as nice pay raises to 35,000 N.Y City Union Transit workers last week. Shouldn’t state and local governments be paying their existing force from within their own budget? How is it you and I give 35,000 pay increases to bus drivers in New York City? $10,000 each! N.Y. State is deep in red ink doing stupid things, like paying a school Superintendent $316,000 per year in pensions. I wonder how Obama’s Unions are faring across the nation, in general. Are they getting fat raises? I know City and State governments have to pay union scale for any construction jobs. Nice for Unions, but only half as many Families (supposedly important) benefit from. Those funds we give. It was supposed to be jobs, jobs, jobs. Not raises! Not bonuses!
Obama and Pelosi want us to entrust them with hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars for government run healthcare. Their cash for clunkers was a perfect disastrous example of their expertise. They started with one billion dollars. It is said they spent only 2% of that on clunkers. Where did the rest go? Now they have 2 billion more but car dealers are screaming because of paperwork, snags and no payments. Healthcare? Get real!!
A USA Today Gallup Poll just out, found 57% say the stimulus package is having no impact on the economy, or making it worse. 60% doubt it will help in the years ahead. Only 18% say it has helped improve their own situation. It gets you all pumped up about their talk of a second one, doesn’t it? What the majority thinks or what the majority wants doesn’t matter in Obamaworld.
I quote Obama in 2008, “I’m telling you. We’re going to get there, over time, slowly, but we’ll move away from reliance on employer-based health insurance as we should, but we’ll do it in a way that we’re not going to frighten people into thinking that they’re going to lose their private insurance. We’re going to give them a choice of Public and Private Insurance when they’re in the pool, and we’re going to let them keep their private employment-based insurance, if their employer continues to provide it.” While running for the Senate in 2003 he said, “I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer healthcare program.” Adding, “But I don’t think we’re going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately.” His message is clear. He will (eventually) get his government controlled single-payer plan. Employers are business people. When the private insurance they provide becomes more expensive than that which is available through the government they will drop you into the government net. Obama knows this and he can legislate fines, penalties (discourage), or give incentives, enticements (encourage) business people to do his will. It looks like a sudden backing off of the “government option” to compete with the private insurers is emanating out of D.C. They are now talking about a (more benign) Co-op Plan, since these Town Hall meetings met with so much protest. Don’t fool yourself though. Obama is just regrouping to “skin the cat” another way. The “cat” is you and me, and the private insurers. Like I’ve said, don’t watch the hand that’s moving. It’s the other one that’ll get you, or complete the trick. And that’s what he is all about – deception. They just removed the infamous “Death Panel” with much fan fare. The same one they ridiculed Sarah Palin for, and denied even existed. But it is just “words” and maneuvers. They can “ration” (and WILL) so severely that it accomplishes the same thing. When they say they will do something, BELIEVE IT! The exact route to it may meander, as they feel their way, but they will get you there unless you stay ever vigilant. They are on a mission, and they are tireless. So must we be!

Obama’s Town Hall meeting in New Hampshire had 11 year old, Julia Hall ask the President about the signs outside, saying mean things “about his healthcare proposal. How do kids know what is true, and why do people want a new system that can – that help more of us?” That opened the door for Obama and he said, “I don’t want people saying I just have a bunch of plants in here.” Of course they were “randomly” selected and Julia’s mother just happened to have campaigned heavily for Obama, and donated thousands to him. So did her law firm. Just random common folk getting a chance to be on T.V. And wasn’t Obama’s T.H. meeting nice and orderly? Tickets were distributed by the White House in advance, questions submitted in advance and Obama selected questioners he wanted – but no plants? This was another Obama infomercial, that got a standing ovation at the end. Protesters outside waited 5-6 hours (in the rain) before Obama demonstrators arrived (on busses) when he went to Montana. There it was “first come, first served” seating and a huge throng of democrats arrived way early. Organized? Montana is a big “guns” state. A man stood up and said he was a proud member of the N.R.A. (National Rifle Association) and about 4 people (out of the hundreds there) clapped. It might have been a stacked deck. The ones that would have clapped were outside in the rain – no room. Another slick professional move. Slick professionals that we have to constantly watch and be fearful of are not right for America. There is a bill now to repeal term limits being introduced. Boughten votes then could give us 30 years of Obama. Is that prospect scary enough?
Remember Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee’s Town Hall when she took a phone call while a question was asked? Her next Town Hall had her gushing over a “Doctor” Roxana Mayer supporting Obama’s plan. Mayer is NOT a doctor. She is studying at the University of Houston for a degree in Social Work – where Rep. Lee’s husband Elwyn Lee is Vice-Pres. For Student Affairs. Gee, do you think she was a plant? A LYING plant, selling fertilizer? Mayer was also a staunch Obama supporter last Fall. She said she was invited by Maria Isabel who is an admirer of Che Guevara who was a Cuban Communist Rebel murdered in 1967. Isabel is an even stauncher supporter of Obama – and Communist Revolutionaries! I like to analyze who people “hang out” with. Isabel and Mayer, just “happened” to be seated together in the front row, convenient for “hugs” in front of the cameras, with Congresswoman Jackson-Lee. Don’t we see a lot of strange connections, with people of very questionable pasts, and very active, powerful, questionable “today’s”, entwined with our President, his programs, and his “staff?”
Good Ole Nancy Pelosi. She called Americans who drowned out opposing views because they’d heard enough, and wanted to be heard themselves, at those Town Hall meetings, UN-American.” In 2006, in front of a frenzied crowd (taking her side of course) she encouraged them shouting, “I’m a fan of disrupters!” She said she drew great inspiration from Franklin Roosevelt – A Disrupter – people with courage – who make change. ”I understand your anger.” Didn’t you love all those old film clips that prove what shifty liars most of our Congress people are? They flat-out deny everything right up to the exposé, then say it was out of context or something equally stupid. If he wasn’t so destructive, Barney Frank’s antics and reversals would be an absolute scream. It’s unbelievable that they put him in charge of anything. If he was Republican, the media would follow him around like vultures, and eat him for lunch.
Congress has decided (after public outrage maybe?) to pare their $550 Million order of 8 Luxury jet planes down to 3. That is hardly re-assuring, because that “Luxury Jet Mentality” or entitlement is deeply ingrained with this bunch. It will just resurface shortly in many other forms. They can’t help themselves. Sometimes they just “reach” for too much, too fast, and get their hands slapped. It is hard (with their greed) to pace themselves, and spread it out.
It seems easily forgotten that our founders drew up the Constitution and its Amendments for the purpose of restricting government, NOT the people! Someone needs to inform the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union). I swear, every time they’re in the news, it is ANTI-American. They should be the AACLU. They sure do have a problem with God, public schools and the Boy Scouts, while showing great affinity for Terrorists’ rights and Illegal Aliens. They are a lot like ACORN, in as much as American taxpayers are paying them to be a pain in their a__! Two school officials are under ACLU attack for “saying Grace” before a meal in a Florida Public School, after hours, all adults in attendance. Those two people are potentially facing 6 months in prison, $5,000 fines and loss of pensions of 30 and 40 years of service. Is this country going insane? I think our Fore Fathers would have shot the ACLU “dead” in the streets! We have Muslim schools here in America. They seemingly pray all the time and we know it’s not all pro-American. Don’t tell me they don’t pray in their schools. Where is the ACLU? Afraid they might get their heads handed to them? It’s a lot like PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) when they go to asinine extremes on fish or insects. Most everyone loves dogs. Many Koreans love “to eat” dogs. But I don’t think there are any vocal PETA Chapters in North Korea. When one wants to speak out loudly, with indignation or outrage, choose your countries well. I remember when Ahmadinejad, (President of Iran) exhorted, “There are no Homosexuals in Iran!” Now, that COULD be true….
The government wants you to e-mail them IF you see something “fishy” (out there) regarding possible “misinformation” about Obama’s healthcare plan. They want to “correct” any possibly misunderstood parts or misconceptions, or clarify their intentions. Forgive me, but I’ll stay focused on what I know. I know that all those I’m nervously watching came from “back alley, anything goes” politics of Chicago and Illinois. I know that if you turn in someone you judge to be possibly “fishy”, the D.C./Chicago crowd will have two e-mail identification lists. One is of those “helpful”, and two is, those problematic, to “the cause”. This one, or future causes. Maybe I’m too suspicious. But if I found myself (heaven forbid) in a back alley in Chicago, I wouldn’t anticipate a “fair” fight. People (hundreds) have recently been contacted by e-mail from the White House, promoting the Healthcare plan. From where did D.C. obtain these addresses? The people didn’t contact the White House previously. Is this a Big Brother alarm indicator of how much they already have on file? Will there be D.C. “spam” and propaganda coming? Do they monitor our computer activities? Can they? Why did only Fox News find this newsworthy? If Bush had done it, would the media have cared then?
Aren’t Stimulus Funds supposed to “create” jobs for those out of work? $360 Million of stimulus funds were given as nice pay raises to 35,000 N.Y City Union Transit workers last week. Shouldn’t state and local governments be paying their existing force from within their own budget? How is it you and I give 35,000 pay increases to bus drivers in New York City? $10,000 each! N.Y. State is deep in red ink doing stupid things, like paying a school Superintendent $316,000 per year in pensions. I wonder how Obama’s Unions are faring across the nation, in general. Are they getting fat raises? I know City and State governments have to pay union scale for any construction jobs. Nice for Unions, but only half as many Families (supposedly important) benefit from. Those funds we give. It was supposed to be jobs, jobs, jobs. Not raises! Not bonuses!
Obama and Pelosi want us to entrust them with hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars for government run healthcare. Their cash for clunkers was a perfect disastrous example of their expertise. They started with one billion dollars. It is said they spent only 2% of that on clunkers. Where did the rest go? Now they have 2 billion more but car dealers are screaming because of paperwork, snags and no payments. Healthcare? Get real!!
A USA Today Gallup Poll just out, found 57% say the stimulus package is having no impact on the economy, or making it worse. 60% doubt it will help in the years ahead. Only 18% say it has helped improve their own situation. It gets you all pumped up about their talk of a second one, doesn’t it? What the majority thinks or what the majority wants doesn’t matter in Obamaworld.
I quote Obama in 2008, “I’m telling you. We’re going to get there, over time, slowly, but we’ll move away from reliance on employer-based health insurance as we should, but we’ll do it in a way that we’re not going to frighten people into thinking that they’re going to lose their private insurance. We’re going to give them a choice of Public and Private Insurance when they’re in the pool, and we’re going to let them keep their private employment-based insurance, if their employer continues to provide it.” While running for the Senate in 2003 he said, “I happen to be a proponent of a single-payer healthcare program.” Adding, “But I don’t think we’re going to be able to eliminate employer coverage immediately.” His message is clear. He will (eventually) get his government controlled single-payer plan. Employers are business people. When the private insurance they provide becomes more expensive than that which is available through the government they will drop you into the government net. Obama knows this and he can legislate fines, penalties (discourage), or give incentives, enticements (encourage) business people to do his will. It looks like a sudden backing off of the “government option” to compete with the private insurers is emanating out of D.C. They are now talking about a (more benign) Co-op Plan, since these Town Hall meetings met with so much protest. Don’t fool yourself though. Obama is just regrouping to “skin the cat” another way. The “cat” is you and me, and the private insurers. Like I’ve said, don’t watch the hand that’s moving. It’s the other one that’ll get you, or complete the trick. And that’s what he is all about – deception. They just removed the infamous “Death Panel” with much fan fare. The same one they ridiculed Sarah Palin for, and denied even existed. But it is just “words” and maneuvers. They can “ration” (and WILL) so severely that it accomplishes the same thing. When they say they will do something, BELIEVE IT! The exact route to it may meander, as they feel their way, but they will get you there unless you stay ever vigilant. They are on a mission, and they are tireless. So must we be!

Obama ran for President with slogans like “Change you can believe in,” vowing absolute "transparency” (Bills would be on the Internet for all to see for at least 5 days before voted on) and “No more politics as usual”. He blasted McCain for his intent to tax health benefits (of excessive "Cadillac"plans) to gain votes. He got those votes, and NOW fully intends to do so himself. It IS the right thing to do if employers are awarding compensation 2 or 3 times as great as the norm, but if McCain says it, it’s bad. If Obama says it (after using it against McCain) it’s good. We know his campaign promise of “transparency” was an outright brazen lie. He has had private (closed door meetings) constantly with selected members of the press, and leaders of shady, thug organizations like ACORN and the SEIU. “No more politics as usual” he was truthful about. He brought us Chicago (gangster style) politics, and heavy-handed (National) “Community Organizing.” Definitely NOT “usual."
The White House just issued an interesting communique for those disrupted Town Hall Meetings, “If we get hit, we will punch back twice as hard!” For whom was that directed? Was it to be taken literally, or figuratively? Is the “silent majority” that is gaining a voice in the heat of August, seen as an unexpected (unplanned for) threat? Do angry Americans, demanding answers to direct questions, from those they elected to represent them, present a problem that must be shut down? Sure looks like it. In St. Louis, Ken Gladney, was handing out pins and flags saying, “Don’t tread on me” (like our Fore Fathers flew) at a Town Hall Meeting. He (a black man) said another black man retorted, “What kind of N____ are you?” Gladney was knocked down, punched, and kicked repeatedly by 4 cruds wearing SEIU shirts - the same SEIU that is in the White House with Obama, designing and benefitting from the proposed healthcare plan, (being questioned) at those Town Hall Meetings. This was a violent act! Things will erupt into something really ugly if Obama doesn’t reign in his thugs, and fast. What did that savage mean by that racial epithet? Was he inferring that Gladney was some kind of turn-coat or “Uncle Tom” for believing in his country? Obama will be totally to blame if these incidents escalate! Where is the media again? Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann raved about the disruptive “Mobs” demanding answers, but ignore a man beaten and hospitalized by Union thugs on film. Shame on MSNBC and the rest for being disgustingly biased. This is shaping up (to me) like Pearl Harbor in 1941 when that Japanese Admiral stated, “I’m afraid we may have awakened a sleeping giant.” I say with pride, “Mr. Obama, say ‘Hello’ to the silent majority. I think they want to speak to you!” I wish we (right now) could have a “do over” on that Presidential election of last fall. I wouldn’t care WHO ran against Obama, the results would be laughable. He just exudes anti-Religion, anti-Constitution, and anti-Amercan behavior in all he does. He doesn’t say it (that wouldn’t go well) but true Americans are on to him, and they are going to raise so much hell with Congress, I think (now) that he will be held at bay! I firmly believe the tide is turning even without integrity in the media. Ben Franklin said, “DEMOCRACY is when a lamb and two wolves vote on what they are having for dinner. LIBERTY is a well-armed lamb!”
What kind of President requests the public to report to the White House anything “fishy” said about his healthcare plan? Who determines WHAT is “fishy,” or WHO is “fishy”? Turn in your neighbor or relative for exercising their right of free speech? Nazi Germany did that! The German people lived in constant fear of being “turned in” or being on a perceived hate list or possible “Enemies of the State.” Just the suggestiveness of that is Evil in America, and if Bush had made such an outrageous request the media would have had him drawn and quartered. Most people are naturally going to be intimidated at the possibilities. Remember those 3 Black Panthers in uniform (last Nov. 4) in “Philly” who threatened with nightsticks, and shouted racial epithets intending to “scare” white voters away - and they did? It was on video tape and they stated they, “Support racially motivated violence against non-blacks and Jews.” They refused to appear in court for 5 months. In essence they “flipped off” the Federal court. What would have happened to you or me? These “Filmed Jerks” naturally lost their case but Obama (who benefitted from their crimes) dismissed the convictions last May. What a good friend to have! It’s good to know, as Obama puts together his civilian forces, that he has such good role models and faithful supporters with natural leadership skills to lean on. Shall we now officially add the Black Panthers to the thug-watch of ACORN and SEIU? The White House has lots of rooms. Obama told supporters in Philadelphia (with his winsome smile) in 2008, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. That’s the Chicago way.” See, he’s not against guns, as long as he and all his Chicago sidekicks have the guns! If you listen to the media (Town Hall Meetings) you hear about these “mobs” and shouting, and how they were “organized” by right-wing activist groups and urged on by FOX News, to disrupt discussion and debate about healthcare. I say (what I always say) distrust the media (you know they totally sold out to Obama) and believe what you see on film (not media film), because YOU weren’t there. Then reason (since they’re all shouting back and forth, totally in disagreement of what the facts are). Use logic and common sense. Obama, ACORN, and the SEIU do not take “NO” for an answer in any discussion, and believe in heavy-handed tactics. If you don’t know that by now, or it’s okay with you - “Have a Nice Day.” I’m talking to those who want to get America back to where we were, robust, vibrant and proud. The media’s loud, angry “mobs” are the awakened silent majority that the media -backed minorities have pushed around for decades! They have gotten up off their sofas after a hard day’s work (supporting most of their lazy A___s) and gone down to the Town Hall with a lot of pent-up emotion. No, they don’t particularly care what their politician has to say. It’s time for that politician to SHUT UP and LISTEN! Politicians are absolutely clear on what they want. God fearing Americans (the ones paying the damned bills, and watching their children and grandchildren set up for the fall) are really ticked-off this time! And there will be some organization. Since when was that a crime? The SEIU and ACORN are in uniform (shirts, etc.) with manufactured signs, rehearsed chants, bullhorns and ready to use strong-arm tactics on housewives or the like. There would be a lot more of their violence if not for cell phone cameras. ABC, CBS and anything with NBC in it will look away, and NOT film! You’ve seen angry people (finally - thank God) with home-made signs, totally frustrated with NOT being heard, or “blown off” by those they entrusted with their (and their families) future and well-being. Wild spending, self-indulgence and arrogant condescending attitudes may be coming to an end. I’ll surely vote for that!
“We’re not losing jobs as fast now, as we have been,” the “News” tells us. I’ve said before, “Figures don’t lie, but Liars sure do figure.” Give a politician a bunch of numbers and he doesn’t know what to do with them until he knows what conclusion he wants to come to, at the end. Then watch him “Figure.” Hence, July unemployment was only another 247,000. With that addition the percentage of unemployed dropped from 9.5% to 9.4%. Another quarter million families devastated on Main Street, and Wall Street celebrates, up 113 points! Wall Street is a different world, with a different set of rules, that ensure they always win, in a bout with anyone on Main Street. Gigantic General Electric is home to a rather unsavory character, CEO Jeffery Immelt. He is a terrible CEO but a good friend of Obama’s. G.E. owns NBC, CNBC and MSNBC and pumps out continuous propaganda for our President. I believe Immelt got Obama elected, and Obama always takes care of his friends - AND his enemies. See Issue 6. I said the S.E.C.'s overlooking Bernie Madoff’s $60 Billion scam for over 20 years was criminal neglect (yet no one was even fired that I ever heard of). Now I guess, the S.E.C is back to overseeing (not overlooking). They just fined G.E. $50 Million for “intentionally misleading” (lying to) their investors with false financial results. No one is going to jail, again. The ones that lied aren’t even paying the fine. The Shareholders that were lied to and lost money will now also pay the fine! Only on Wall Street, with the Goldman Sachs type appointees in high offices, and in bed with the Government, can this asinine crap happen and hardly anyone bats an eye. But it gets funnier. Those that lied paid $200 Million to lawyers to cover it up. That of course is also Shareholders’ expense. If Shareholders aren’t being shafted, then it's the taxpayers since we bailed them out! Not so funny. Either way, the "Fat Cats" on Wall Street don't lose!
Last Fall when the CEO’s of the “Big 3” of our Auto Industry went to Washington with “hats in hand” as beggars for bailout funds they were admonished for flying their corporate jets (each their own) instead of driving “car pool” or flying “coach” on an airline. It made even me feel bad for them, as they were being skewered, mocked and lampooned by Congress. The more they
squirmed, the more Congress seemed to delight in making them crawl. The point (if there ever is one with Congress) was if times are hard why are you squandering what little is left, in extravagance? You deserve to be humiliated! I just told you last week about Congress’s excessive and lavish “frills” that amount to $6.9 million apiece (on average) from $3.7 BILLION in “expense money” awarded to themselves. The Air Force requested the purchase of one $65 million plane. The House Appropriations Committee ADDED $132 million for 2 more planes for Congress to scoot around in. Now, these are G550s (the Rolls Royce of jets). But then Congress thought (oxymoron), Oh, “What the hell, we’re deserving.” and decided to make it EIGHT Luxury Jets for $550 million. Now I thought times were hard, but Congress lives in a different Universe, and money is no object. But I do wonder what those CEOs think - and the Taxpayers!
A Medicare-type plan is what Obama and Pelosi envision for Universal Healthcare. When Medicare began in 1965 progressives said it would cost $9 billion by 1990. The actual cost was $66 billion - more than 7 times what was projected. Take 1.5 Trillion and multiply that x 7 (10.5 Trillion)! WOW! Or do you think these numskulls are a lot smarter than the other batch? Want to risk it? Those that do want to risk it are politicians with fantastic private health plans (that they won’t relinquish) and those with no financial stake in it, (paying no taxes) and 12-20 million illegal aliens! They will cause serious rationing for the aging Baby Boomers that paid in all their working lives. And the AARP (selling out) is as shameful as the media’s absence in this one. Their Top Guy put $9,000 into Obama's campaign. Do you think he sold his members out?
You must have seen the man with his son in a wheelchair on T.V. The man was Mike Sola. Pelosi and Reid call angry, concerned people like Mike Sola, “Un-American” when they demand their Congress to READ THE BILL that will deny care for those like his son with Cerebral Palsy. Mr. Sola said he and his family was threatened later that night at his home, by Democrat Union thugs. I don’t know if this is true but I saw Democrat SEIU Union thugs attack and beat Mr. Gladney very recently for doing nothing. Why should I NOT believe him? The Health Bills coming out of Congress would put the decisions about your care in the hands of presidential appointees. They’d decide what plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have and what seniors get under Medicare. Yet at least two of President Obama’s top health advisers should never be trusted with that power. Start with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. He has already been appointed to two key positions: health- policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research. Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. “Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely ‘lipstick’ cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change,” he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).
Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, “as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others” (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).
Yes, that’s what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.
Many doctors are horrified by this notion; They’ll tell you that a doctor’s job is to achieve social justice one patient at a time. Emanuel, however, believes that “communitarianism” should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those “who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens.
... An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia” (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. ‘96). Translation: Don’t give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson’s or a child with cerebral palsy.
He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: “Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years” (Lancet, Jan. 31).
The bills being rushed through Congress will be paid for largely by a $500 billion-plus cut in Medicare over 10 years. Knowing how unpopular the cuts will be, the president’s budget director, Peter Orszag, urged Congress this week to delegate its own authority over Medicare to a new, presidentially-appointed bureaucracy that wouldn’t be accountable to the public.
Since Medicare was founded in 1965, seniors’ lives have been transformed by new medical treatments such as angioplasty, bypass surgery and hip and knee replacements. These innovations allow the elderly to lead active lives. But Emanuel criticizes Americans for being too “enamored with technology” and is determined to reduce access to it.
Dr. David Blumenthal, another key Obama adviser, agrees. He recommends slowing medical innovation to control health spending. Blumenthal has long advocated government health-spending controls, though he concedes they’re “associated with longer waits” and “reduced availability of new and expensive treatments and devices” (New England Journal of Medicine, March 8, 2001). But he calls it “debatable” whether the timely care Americans get is worth the cost. (Ask a cancer patient, and you’ll get a different answer. Delay lowers your chances of survival.
Obama appointed Blumenthal as national coordinator of health-information technology, a job that involves making sure doctors obey electronically delivered guidelines about what care the government deems appropriate and cost effective. In the April 9 New England Journal of Medicine, Blumenthal predicted that many doctors would resist “embedded clinical decision support” - a euphemism for computers telling doctors what to do.
Americans need to know what the president’s health advisers have in mind for them. Emanuel sees even basic amenities as luxuries and says Americans expect too much: “Hospital rooms in the United States offer more privacy ... physicians’ offices are typically more conveniently located and have parking nearby and more attractive waiting rooms” (JAMA, June18,2008).
No one has leveled with the public about these dangerous views. Nor have most people heard about the arm-twisting, Chicago-style tactics being used to force support. In a Nov. 16, 2008, Health Care Watch column, Emanuel explained how business should be done: “Every favor to a constituency should be linked to support for the health-care reform agenda. If the auto makers want a bailout, then they and their suppliers have to agree to support and lobby for the administration’s health-reform effort.”
Do we want a “reform” that empowers people like this to decide for us?
There is a lot of scary stuff going on in America, folks. This Healthcare program (as proposed) will have a catastrophic affect on older people, and will be a terrible shock to all others that expect to be cared for in a timely fashion. The other really scary stuff is Chicago-style governance. Americans have never been dictated to and SOCIALISM has never been considered. Wake up people, and see through the deceit and conniving. Your world is falling apart. I will never forgive the media for selling out America -- NEVER!

Do angry Americans, demanding answers to direct questions, from those they elected to represent them, present a problem that must be shut down? Sure looks like it. In St. Louis, Ken Gladney, was handing out pins and flags saying, “Don’t tread on me” (like our Fore Fathers flew) at a Town Hall Meeting. He (a black man) said another black man retorted, “What kind of N____ are you?” Gladney was knocked down, punched, and kicked repeatedly by 4 cruds wearing SEIU shirts - the same SEIU that is in the White House with Obama, designing and benefitting from the proposed healthcare plan, (being questioned) at those Town Hall Meetings. This was a violent act! Things will erupt into something really ugly if Obama doesn’t reign in his thugs, and fast. What did that savage mean by that racial epithet? Was he inferring that Gladney was some kind of turn-coat or “Uncle Tom” for believing in his country? Obama will be totally to blame if these incidents escalate! Where is the media again? Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann raved about the disruptive “Mobs” demanding answers, but ignore a man beaten and hospitalized by Union thugs on film. Shame on MSNBC and the rest for being disgustingly biased. This is shaping up (to me) like Pearl Harbor in 1941 when that Japanese Admiral stated, “I’m afraid we may have awakened a sleeping giant.” I say with pride, “Mr. Obama, say ‘Hello’ to the silent majority. I think they want to speak to you!” I wish we (right now) could have a “do over” on that Presidential election of last fall. I wouldn’t care WHO ran against Obama, the results would be laughable. He just exudes anti-Religion, anti-Constitution, and anti-Amercan behavior in all he does. He doesn’t say it (that wouldn’t go well) but true Americans are on to him, and they are going to raise so much hell with Congress, I think (now) that he will be held at bay! I firmly believe the tide is turning even without integrity in the media. Ben Franklin said, “DEMOCRACY is when a lamb and two wolves vote on what they are having for dinner. LIBERTY is a well-armed lamb!”
What kind of President requests the public to report to the White House anything “fishy” said about his healthcare plan? Who determines WHAT is “fishy,” or WHO is “fishy”? Turn in your neighbor or relative for exercising their right of free speech? Nazi Germany did that! The German people lived in constant fear of being “turned in” or being on a perceived hate list or possible “Enemies of the State.” Just the suggestiveness of that is Evil in America, and if Bush had made such an outrageous request the media would have had him drawn and quartered. Most people are naturally going to be intimidated at the possibilities. Remember those 3 Black Panthers in uniform (last Nov. 4) in “Philly” who threatened with nightsticks, and shouted racial epithets intending to “scare” white voters away - and they did? It was on video tape and they stated they, “Support racially motivated violence against non-blacks and Jews.” They refused to appear in court for 5 months. In essence they “flipped off” the Federal court. What would have happened to you or me? These “Filmed Jerks” naturally lost their case but Obama (who benefitted from their crimes) dismissed the convictions last May. What a good friend to have! It’s good to know, as Obama puts together his civilian forces, that he has such good role models and faithful supporters with natural leadership skills to lean on. Shall we now officially add the Black Panthers to the thug-watch of ACORN and SEIU? The White House has lots of rooms. Obama told supporters in Philadelphia (with his winsome smile) in 2008, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun. That’s the Chicago way.” See, he’s not against guns, as long as he and all his Chicago sidekicks have the guns! If you listen to the media (Town Hall Meetings) you hear about these “mobs” and shouting, and how they were “organized” by right-wing activist groups and urged on by FOX News, to disrupt discussion and debate about healthcare. I say (what I always say) distrust the media (you know they totally sold out to Obama) and believe what you see on film (not media film), because YOU weren’t there. Then reason (since they’re all shouting back and forth, totally in disagreement of what the facts are). Use logic and common sense. Obama, ACORN, and the SEIU do not take “NO” for an answer in any discussion, and believe in heavy-handed tactics. If you don’t know that by now, or it’s okay with you - “Have a Nice Day.” I’m talking to those who want to get America back to where we were, robust, vibrant and proud. The media’s loud, angry “mobs” are the awakened silent majority that the media -backed minorities have pushed around for decades! They have gotten up off their sofas after a hard day’s work (supporting most of their lazy A___s) and gone down to the Town Hall with a lot of pent-up emotion. No, they don’t particularly care what their politician has to say. It’s time for that politician to SHUT UP and LISTEN! Politicians are absolutely clear on what they want. God fearing Americans (the ones paying the damned bills, and watching their children and grandchildren set up for the fall) are really ticked-off this time! And there will be some organization. Since when was that a crime? The SEIU and ACORN are in uniform (shirts, etc.) with manufactured signs, rehearsed chants, bullhorns and ready to use strong-arm tactics on housewives or the like. There would be a lot more of their violence if not for cell phone cameras. ABC, CBS and anything with NBC in it will look away, and NOT film! You’ve seen angry people (finally - thank God) with home-made signs, totally frustrated with NOT being heard, or “blown off” by those they entrusted with their (and their families) future and well-being. Wild spending, self-indulgence and arrogant condescending attitudes may be coming to an end. I’ll surely vote for that!
“We’re not losing jobs as fast now, as we have been,” the “News” tells us. I’ve said before, “Figures don’t lie, but Liars sure do figure.” Give a politician a bunch of numbers and he doesn’t know what to do with them until he knows what conclusion he wants to come to, at the end. Then watch him “Figure.” Hence, July unemployment was only another 247,000. With that addition the percentage of unemployed dropped from 9.5% to 9.4%. Another quarter million families devastated on Main Street, and Wall Street celebrates, up 113 points! Wall Street is a different world, with a different set of rules, that ensure they always win, in a bout with anyone on Main Street. Gigantic General Electric is home to a rather unsavory character, CEO Jeffery Immelt. He is a terrible CEO but a good friend of Obama’s. G.E. owns NBC, CNBC and MSNBC and pumps out continuous propaganda for our President. I believe Immelt got Obama elected, and Obama always takes care of his friends - AND his enemies. See Issue 6. I said the S.E.C.'s overlooking Bernie Madoff’s $60 Billion scam for over 20 years was criminal neglect (yet no one was even fired that I ever heard of). Now I guess, the S.E.C is back to overseeing (not overlooking). They just fined G.E. $50 Million for “intentionally misleading” (lying to) their investors with false financial results. No one is going to jail, again. The ones that lied aren’t even paying the fine. The Shareholders that were lied to and lost money will now also pay the fine! Only on Wall Street, with the Goldman Sachs type appointees in high offices, and in bed with the Government, can this asinine crap happen and hardly anyone bats an eye. But it gets funnier. Those that lied paid $200 Million to lawyers to cover it up. That of course is also Shareholders’ expense. If Shareholders aren’t being shafted, then it's the taxpayers since we bailed them out! Not so funny. Either way, the "Fat Cats" on Wall Street don't lose!
Last Fall when the CEO’s of the “Big 3” of our Auto Industry went to Washington with “hats in hand” as beggars for bailout funds they were admonished for flying their corporate jets (each their own) instead of driving “car pool” or flying “coach” on an airline. It made even me feel bad for them, as they were being skewered, mocked and lampooned by Congress. The more they
squirmed, the more Congress seemed to delight in making them crawl. The point (if there ever is one with Congress) was if times are hard why are you squandering what little is left, in extravagance? You deserve to be humiliated! I just told you last week about Congress’s excessive and lavish “frills” that amount to $6.9 million apiece (on average) from $3.7 BILLION in “expense money” awarded to themselves. The Air Force requested the purchase of one $65 million plane. The House Appropriations Committee ADDED $132 million for 2 more planes for Congress to scoot around in. Now, these are G550s (the Rolls Royce of jets). But then Congress thought (oxymoron), Oh, “What the hell, we’re deserving.” and decided to make it EIGHT Luxury Jets for $550 million. Now I thought times were hard, but Congress lives in a different Universe, and money is no object. But I do wonder what those CEOs think - and the Taxpayers!
A Medicare-type plan is what Obama and Pelosi envision for Universal Healthcare. When Medicare began in 1965 progressives said it would cost $9 billion by 1990. The actual cost was $66 billion - more than 7 times what was projected. Take 1.5 Trillion and multiply that x 7 (10.5 Trillion)! WOW! Or do you think these numskulls are a lot smarter than the other batch? Want to risk it? Those that do want to risk it are politicians with fantastic private health plans (that they won’t relinquish) and those with no financial stake in it, (paying no taxes) and 12-20 million illegal aliens! They will cause serious rationing for the aging Baby Boomers that paid in all their working lives. And the AARP (selling out) is as shameful as the media’s absence in this one. Their Top Guy put $9,000 into Obama's campaign. Do you think he sold his members out?
You must have seen the man with his son in a wheelchair on T.V. The man was Mike Sola. Pelosi and Reid call angry, concerned people like Mike Sola, “Un-American” when they demand their Congress to READ THE BILL that will deny care for those like his son with Cerebral Palsy. Mr. Sola said he and his family was threatened later that night at his home, by Democrat Union thugs. I don’t know if this is true but I saw Democrat SEIU Union thugs attack and beat Mr. Gladney very recently for doing nothing. Why should I NOT believe him? The Health Bills coming out of Congress would put the decisions about your care in the hands of presidential appointees. They’d decide what plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have and what seniors get under Medicare. Yet at least two of President Obama’s top health advisers should never be trusted with that power. Start with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. He has already been appointed to two key positions: health- policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research. Emanuel bluntly admits that the cuts will not be pain-free. “Vague promises of savings from cutting waste, enhancing prevention and wellness, installing electronic medical records and improving quality are merely ‘lipstick’ cost control, more for show and public relations than for true change,” he wrote last year (Health Affairs Feb. 27, 2008).
Savings, he writes, will require changing how doctors think about their patients: Doctors take the Hippocratic Oath too seriously, “as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of the cost or effects on others” (Journal of the American Medical Association, June 18, 2008).
Yes, that’s what patients want their doctors to do. But Emanuel wants doctors to look beyond the needs of their patients and consider social justice, such as whether the money could be better spent on somebody else.
Many doctors are horrified by this notion; They’ll tell you that a doctor’s job is to achieve social justice one patient at a time. Emanuel, however, believes that “communitarianism” should guide decisions on who gets care. He says medical care should be reserved for the non-disabled, not given to those “who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens.
... An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia” (Hastings Center Report, Nov.-Dec. ‘96). Translation: Don’t give much care to a grandmother with Parkinson’s or a child with cerebral palsy.
He explicitly defends discrimination against older patients: “Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years” (Lancet, Jan. 31).
The bills being rushed through Congress will be paid for largely by a $500 billion-plus cut in Medicare over 10 years. Knowing how unpopular the cuts will be, the president’s budget director, Peter Orszag, urged Congress this week to delegate its own authority over Medicare to a new, presidentially-appointed bureaucracy that wouldn’t be accountable to the public.
Since Medicare was founded in 1965, seniors’ lives have been transformed by new medical treatments such as angioplasty, bypass surgery and hip and knee replacements. These innovations allow the elderly to lead active lives. But Emanuel criticizes Americans for being too “enamored with technology” and is determined to reduce access to it.
Dr. David Blumenthal, another key Obama adviser, agrees. He recommends slowing medical innovation to control health spending. Blumenthal has long advocated government health-spending controls, though he concedes they’re “associated with longer waits” and “reduced availability of new and expensive treatments and devices” (New England Journal of Medicine, March 8, 2001). But he calls it “debatable” whether the timely care Americans get is worth the cost. (Ask a cancer patient, and you’ll get a different answer. Delay lowers your chances of survival.
Obama appointed Blumenthal as national coordinator of health-information technology, a job that involves making sure doctors obey electronically delivered guidelines about what care the government deems appropriate and cost effective. In the April 9 New England Journal of Medicine, Blumenthal predicted that many doctors would resist “embedded clinical decision support” - a euphemism for computers telling doctors what to do.
Americans need to know what the president’s health advisers have in mind for them. Emanuel sees even basic amenities as luxuries and says Americans expect too much: “Hospital rooms in the United States offer more privacy ... physicians’ offices are typically more conveniently located and have parking nearby and more attractive waiting rooms” (JAMA, June18,2008).
No one has leveled with the public about these dangerous views. Nor have most people heard about the arm-twisting, Chicago-style tactics being used to force support. In a Nov. 16, 2008, Health Care Watch column, Emanuel explained how business should be done: “Every favor to a constituency should be linked to support for the health-care reform agenda. If the auto makers want a bailout, then they and their suppliers have to agree to support and lobby for the administration’s health-reform effort.”
Do we want a “reform” that empowers people like this to decide for us?
There is a lot of scary stuff going on in America, folks. This Healthcare program (as proposed) will have a catastrophic affect on older people, and will be a terrible shock to all others that expect to be cared for in a timely fashion. The other really scary stuff is Chicago-style governance. Americans have never been dictated to and SOCIALISM has never been considered. Wake up people, and see through the deceit and conniving. Your world is falling apart. I will never forgive the media for selling out America -- NEVER!

Health care is hot in the news, and as usual politicians are totally confusing people who want it done right, or want to do the right thing. The politicians never unite, and do the right thing for the people. Remember that! They are in a constant power struggle of super egos amongst the two parties, and concern for “the people”, or the “good of the country” is way down on their list of priorities. Besides, they know best what is good for us, and how best to spend our money. Both parties want BIG government, just of their own design. Bigger government always creates bigger problems. Just learn that and you will save yourself a lot of grief. Forget them. Think for yourself. As I’ve said, look at the facts you know, use common sense, connect the dots and then tell those lying, arrogant egotists (who have health plans we can only dream about) how they damned-well BETTER vote on something that you and I, and our kids will pay for, the rest of our lives! Healthcare fact number one is, the polls say 84% of the people like what they have. A lot can be done to cut costs and make it better. Do that, a little at a time, with a long range program and goal; simple, easy to understand, and “transparent” for all the people to see (and possibly within these bunglers’ capabilities). Only fools would advocate throwing something out, of such magnitude, that works, for a radical untried system (government designed and run) and in the worst possible economic climate! Fools we have in abundance. Fact two is, IF you add 47 million people suddenly to a system, already short of doctors, nurses and hospital space, you must know the effect (at a minimum) will be long lines and waiting for vital care. That will be an immediate result and will last for a bunch of years, until newcomers get all those years of doctor training required. You are assuming (aren’t you) that young people will want to go through all that hard work and expense to obtain a government job? I will assume they will train for other work! These two facts should be enough to quell any further debate. But I want you to know what all my digging and hard work has revealed to me. If Obama’s plan to have a government plan, to “compete” with private insurers gets passed when Congress reconvenes, it will result in (and is designed to be) a government take-over of everyone’s healthcare. Here is where it will get ugly and turn into something you never imagined. I’ll just say he thinks differently about “life” than the clear majority of America does. We will have “rationed” care for the elderly (to control costs) in those documented, “Last Years” and most expensive stage of life. Bet on it. The government’s infinite wisdom will decide what numerical age is (now) “Elderly.” They could also declare abortions legal (and appropriate) right up until the baby sees daylight! Outrageous, but their backgrounds reveal it! Government will decide how sick, is TOO sick and when to pull the plug or stop treatment (since “they” are paying for it). They could determine that a “special needs” child or adult is a drag on the bottom line. What then, Euthanasia? Will government tell you to abort your unborn baby if ultra-sound shows it to be “imperfect”, and will need “too much” medical care?
CASH FOR CLUNKERS – How Awesome – 1 billion expended in 4 days. Congress immediately approved an additional 2 billion to keep the program going. It is amazing, the money they can throw out there when they’re “motivated.” But there is something inherently wrong in destroying hundreds of thousands of cars that the “little guy” would be glad to have. This waste (and farce) doesn’t even encourage “Buy American” or your choice must get much better mileage. If those lucky “winners” can’t make those “new car” payments will the government bail them out? And the ones that were going to buy soon are spurred on to buy NOW. Those sales won’t be there later. But why can’t that free spending government get “motivated” to throw a few billion at PREVENTION instead of TREATMENT in healthcare? This would actually make sense that I could believe in, IF I didn’t know them better. When it comes to, “Put your money where your mouth is.” It is always “our” money and “their” mouths. Mouths that run incessantly, blathering half the time and outright lying the other half. A big part of illness prevention would be in research of those diseases. Federal Funding is woefully inadequate to study causation, or correlations between poor nutrition, obesity and the rapid increase of diseases like Diabetes and Autism. I am into vitamin supplements because the nutrients just aren’t in the soil anymore. I know my wife and I have benefited greatly over the last 30 years. It is an absolute crime that they don’t teach our children extensively in school about health and good nutrition to break this cycle of ignorance. And having pop and junk-food vending on school property is ludicrous. Lower medical costs nationwide, literally starts with educating the next generation (from Grade School on) about nutrition (whole grains, whole foods, fats and sugar) and healthy lifestyles. THIS is where government (once again) could help but is nowhere to be found. Is it ignorance, or is it deliberate? After everything I’ve seen in this government (to the highest bidder) I have serious doubts. You see (while educating) the government could also force food preparers (convenience foods) to comply with high healthy standards in ingredients, and processing. The government is the one with the biggest financial stake, and is also the one (the only one) that can turn this all around – better health and financial burden relief.
DIVORCE AGREEMENT 2009 (I rather liked this. Hope you do)
Dear American Liberals, Leftists, Social Progressives, Socialists, Marxists, Obama supporters, et al:
We have stuck together since the late 1950’s, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.
Here is a model separation agreement: Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.
We don’t like re-distributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU, and abortion clinics. Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, Katie Couric and Rosie O’Donnell.
We’ll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens. We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms and rednecks. We’ll keep the Bibles and give you CBS, NBC, CNBC and Hollywood.
You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks, and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we’ll help provide them security.
We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N., but we will no longer be paying the bill.
We’ll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks American made cars and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.
You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We’ll continue to believe healthcare is not a right. We’ll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem and “In God We Trust” where it belongs. I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World.
We’ll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, we’ll keep our history, our name and our flag.

I introduced you to “Public Allies” last week as the prototype civilian army for Obama. Well, the real one will be taking shape named “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education – G.I.V.E. Obama is calling it “voluntary” in G.I.V.E.’s beginnings, but has previously stated (and you had better believe it) that Americans would be “required” to complete “50 hours of community service in Middle School and High School and 100 hours of community service in college every year.” It was, after controversy, changed to “encouraged” to do so. “Required” will be very soon. He always softens his verbiage after he is told he maybe came on too strong.
His opinion (or intent) didn’t change, just a word, temporarily. Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s Chief of Staff (in a N.Y. Daily News audio interview) divulged that 3 months minimum Civil Service “training” would be required for every American to serve between the ages of 18-25. And yes, there would be “jumping jacks” (calisthenics) and uniforms. He asked, “You would have a problem with that? We would be there for you, in a circle of love.” Well, would YOU have a problem with that? I sure do! And if you don’t, we’re in big trouble. This is just the beginning, and one more facet of “Obama change”. This could be forcible change. Tough “love”? I surely hope you don’t think this is silly, and not to be taken seriously.
Student loans for college, after 7/1/10 will no longer be allowed through banks and guaranteed by the federal government. The new program will give loans direct from the government, will have control over who gets these loans, and if you go into government service (like AmeriCorp) for 10 years after graduation, your loan will be “forgiven”. That will attract many and ensure 10 years of indoctrination, for all those beholden. This is still another way to control every aspect of our lives and to, “guide” the next generation in the “proper” direction.
What do you think about that coming “smart grid” on the horizon? That is to “help us” on energy conservation. It will monitor our heat and light usage. If we use too much heat it will signal the government (Big Brother) and it will be cut back automatically. I expect fines or penalties will soon follow. How do you like the way things are shaping up? It’s just getting started. Control!
H.R 2918 was passed in the House (FOR the House) on June 19. Look at what taxpayers are soaked for, “Salaries and Expenses”: 1.375 Billion. Divided by 435, that is $3.161 million per dummy. They sure do get a lot of frills above their salaries. Maybe we’re the dummies. Maybe that’s why they’re so arrogant. I don’t even care how much the Senate gets; it’s got to be outrageous too. But to sum up, Congressmen have six figure incomes, great healthcare, ridiculous pensions and voted themselves 3.7 Billion in Expense money. Divided by 535 members our “Royalty” got 6.9 million apiece, on average. It truly is no wonder they can’t relate to the “common man”, or find the time to read a bill that only affects the “common man.”
What in the world is the definition of a “Bonus” these days? We have corporations paying HUGE salaries to their executives who oversee HUGE “losses” (some to the brink of bankruptcy) and those miserably failing executives expect huge bonuses too? When I grew up and ventured into the “real” business world, you hired on to do a job for a salary. If you did a good job (certainly not huge losses) you had reasonable expectations for an increase in salary at year end. That was usually somewhere between what you thought you deserved and what your boss, or the board thought. Bonuses were for “extra special” profits or achievement. You certainly deserved NONE for losses! You would be thankful not to be fired. Considering our economic problems today, this points out to me how out of whack simple reimbursement for simply doing your job is. How did this greed or ungodly expectation of reward come about? It defies reason or common sense. Even the U.S. Postal Service, again (routinely billions “in the red”) is doling out six figure bonuses! Corporations that received billions in government bailout funds (to survive) have to “honor” contractual bonus obligations, supposedly. This is a dishonor to taxpayers, and just plain decency. Any executive worth having (after failure) would apologize and sheepishly accept his or her salary, expect no raise, and refuse any offered bonus, contract or not. Give those “bonuses” to the stockholders or employees or subtract it from the “red ink”. Whatever happened to “Character” and “Integrity”? These are “losses” we cannot afford to lose! Are you a “leader”, or just first in line - with your hand out?! Return to virtue and prosperity will follow.
CONGRESS PROTECTS ACORN AGAIN - CANADA FREE PRESS, 7/24/09
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Steve King today introduced an amendment to the Labor-HHS Appropriations Bill prohibiting any taxpayer money in the bill from going to ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) or any of its 174 affiliates. Liberals on the House-Rules Committee ruled King’s amendment out of order. This is the seventh amendment addressing ACORN liberals have denied King from offering. King has previously introduced amendments to keep ACORN from receiving taxpayer money and to bar ACORN from helping with the 2010 census.

ACORN, SEIU, Tides Foundation, AmeriCorps, Apollo Alliance, are all radical groups bent on transforming America into a Socialist State. Remember these names well. I see them as an evil threat to my Country. Wade Rathke is a bad person, very bad, (as I’ve told you), if you look into his background, and is out to take over America. He has extremely close ties to all of these extremist groups and their sub-groups. They are all interconnected, while he remains in the background, in the shadows. Obama has brought these close friends of his right into the White House, and has closed door meetings weekly. Why doesn’t that set off any alarms?! They advise him, and played heavy roles in designing the Stimulus package and Healthcare - those thousand page Bills committing Trillions, and no one has read. There’s a “recipe” for disaster! Health care is hot in the news, and as usual politicians are totally confusing people who want it done right, or want to do the right thing. The politicians never unite, and do the right thing for the people. Remember that! They are in a constant power struggle of super egos amongst the two parties, and concern for “the people”, or the “good of the country” is way down on their list of priorities. Besides, they know best what is good for us, and how best to spend our money. Both parties want BIG government, just of their own design. Bigger government always creates bigger problems. Just learn that and you will save yourself a lot of grief. Forget them. Think for yourself. As I’ve said, look at the facts you know, use common sense, connect the dots and then tell those lying, arrogant egotists (who have health plans we can only dream about) how they damned-well BETTER vote on something that you and I, and our kids will pay for, the rest of our lives! Healthcare fact number one is, the polls say 84% of the people like what they have. A lot can be done to cut costs and make it better. Do that, a little at a time, with a long range program and goal; simple, easy to understand, and “transparent” for all the people to see (and possibly within these bunglers’ capabilities). Only fools would advocate throwing something out, of such magnitude, that works, for a radical untried system (government designed and run) and in the worst possible economic climate! Fools we have in abundance. Fact two is, IF you add 47 million people suddenly to a system, already short of doctors, nurses and hospital space, you must know the effect (at a minimum) will be long lines and waiting for vital care. That will be an immediate result and will last for a bunch of years, until newcomers get all those years of doctor training required. You are assuming (aren’t you) that young people will want to go through all that hard work and expense to obtain a government job? I will assume they will train for other work! These two facts should be enough to quell any further debate. But I want you to know what all my digging and hard work has revealed to me. If Obama’s plan to have a government plan, to “compete” with private insurers gets passed when Congress reconvenes, it will result in (and is designed to be) a government take-over of everyone’s healthcare. Here is where it will get ugly and turn into something you never imagined. I’ll just say he thinks differently about “life” than the clear majority of America does. We will have “rationed” care for the elderly (to control costs) in those documented, “Last Years” and most expensive stage of life. Bet on it. The government’s infinite wisdom will decide what numerical age is (now) “Elderly.” They could also declare abortions legal (and appropriate) right up until the baby sees daylight! Outrageous, but their backgrounds reveal it! Government will decide how sick, is TOO sick and when to pull the plug or stop treatment (since “they” are paying for it). They could determine that a “special needs” child or adult is a drag on the bottom line. What then, Euthanasia? Will government tell you to abort your unborn baby if ultra-sound shows it to be “imperfect”, and will need “too much” medical care?
CASH FOR CLUNKERS – How Awesome – 1 billion expended in 4 days. Congress immediately approved an additional 2 billion to keep the program going. It is amazing, the money they can throw out there when they’re “motivated.” But there is something inherently wrong in destroying hundreds of thousands of cars that the “little guy” would be glad to have. This waste (and farce) doesn’t even encourage “Buy American” or your choice must get much better mileage. If those lucky “winners” can’t make those “new car” payments will the government bail them out? And the ones that were going to buy soon are spurred on to buy NOW. Those sales won’t be there later. But why can’t that free spending government get “motivated” to throw a few billion at PREVENTION instead of TREATMENT in healthcare? This would actually make sense that I could believe in, IF I didn’t know them better. When it comes to, “Put your money where your mouth is.” It is always “our” money and “their” mouths. Mouths that run incessantly, blathering half the time and outright lying the other half. A big part of illness prevention would be in research of those diseases. Federal Funding is woefully inadequate to study causation, or correlations between poor nutrition, obesity and the rapid increase of diseases like Diabetes and Autism. I am into vitamin supplements because the nutrients just aren’t in the soil anymore. I know my wife and I have benefited greatly over the last 30 years. It is an absolute crime that they don’t teach our children extensively in school about health and good nutrition to break this cycle of ignorance. And having pop and junk-food vending on school property is ludicrous. Lower medical costs nationwide, literally starts with educating the next generation (from Grade School on) about nutrition (whole grains, whole foods, fats and sugar) and healthy lifestyles. THIS is where government (once again) could help but is nowhere to be found. Is it ignorance, or is it deliberate? After everything I’ve seen in this government (to the highest bidder) I have serious doubts. You see (while educating) the government could also force food preparers (convenience foods) to comply with high healthy standards in ingredients, and processing. The government is the one with the biggest financial stake, and is also the one (the only one) that can turn this all around – better health and financial burden relief.
DIVORCE AGREEMENT 2009 (I rather liked this. Hope you do)
Dear American Liberals, Leftists, Social Progressives, Socialists, Marxists, Obama supporters, et al:
We have stuck together since the late 1950’s, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so let’s just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.
Here is a model separation agreement: Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.
We don’t like re-distributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU, and abortion clinics. Since you hate guns and war, we’ll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore, Katie Couric and Rosie O’Donnell.
We’ll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens. We’ll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms and rednecks. We’ll keep the Bibles and give you CBS, NBC, CNBC and Hollywood.
You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we’ll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks, and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we’ll help provide them security.
We’ll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N., but we will no longer be paying the bill.
We’ll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks American made cars and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.
You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. We’ll continue to believe healthcare is not a right. We’ll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem and “In God We Trust” where it belongs. I’m sure you’ll be happy to substitute I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World.
We’ll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, we’ll keep our history, our name and our flag.

I introduced you to “Public Allies” last week as the prototype civilian army for Obama. Well, the real one will be taking shape named “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education – G.I.V.E. Obama is calling it “voluntary” in G.I.V.E.’s beginnings, but has previously stated (and you had better believe it) that Americans would be “required” to complete “50 hours of community service in Middle School and High School and 100 hours of community service in college every year.” It was, after controversy, changed to “encouraged” to do so. “Required” will be very soon. He always softens his verbiage after he is told he maybe came on too strong.
His opinion (or intent) didn’t change, just a word, temporarily. Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s Chief of Staff (in a N.Y. Daily News audio interview) divulged that 3 months minimum Civil Service “training” would be required for every American to serve between the ages of 18-25. And yes, there would be “jumping jacks” (calisthenics) and uniforms. He asked, “You would have a problem with that? We would be there for you, in a circle of love.” Well, would YOU have a problem with that? I sure do! And if you don’t, we’re in big trouble. This is just the beginning, and one more facet of “Obama change”. This could be forcible change. Tough “love”? I surely hope you don’t think this is silly, and not to be taken seriously.
Student loans for college, after 7/1/10 will no longer be allowed through banks and guaranteed by the federal government. The new program will give loans direct from the government, will have control over who gets these loans, and if you go into government service (like AmeriCorp) for 10 years after graduation, your loan will be “forgiven”. That will attract many and ensure 10 years of indoctrination, for all those beholden. This is still another way to control every aspect of our lives and to, “guide” the next generation in the “proper” direction.
What do you think about that coming “smart grid” on the horizon? That is to “help us” on energy conservation. It will monitor our heat and light usage. If we use too much heat it will signal the government (Big Brother) and it will be cut back automatically. I expect fines or penalties will soon follow. How do you like the way things are shaping up? It’s just getting started. Control!
H.R 2918 was passed in the House (FOR the House) on June 19. Look at what taxpayers are soaked for, “Salaries and Expenses”: 1.375 Billion. Divided by 435, that is $3.161 million per dummy. They sure do get a lot of frills above their salaries. Maybe we’re the dummies. Maybe that’s why they’re so arrogant. I don’t even care how much the Senate gets; it’s got to be outrageous too. But to sum up, Congressmen have six figure incomes, great healthcare, ridiculous pensions and voted themselves 3.7 Billion in Expense money. Divided by 535 members our “Royalty” got 6.9 million apiece, on average. It truly is no wonder they can’t relate to the “common man”, or find the time to read a bill that only affects the “common man.”
What in the world is the definition of a “Bonus” these days? We have corporations paying HUGE salaries to their executives who oversee HUGE “losses” (some to the brink of bankruptcy) and those miserably failing executives expect huge bonuses too? When I grew up and ventured into the “real” business world, you hired on to do a job for a salary. If you did a good job (certainly not huge losses) you had reasonable expectations for an increase in salary at year end. That was usually somewhere between what you thought you deserved and what your boss, or the board thought. Bonuses were for “extra special” profits or achievement. You certainly deserved NONE for losses! You would be thankful not to be fired. Considering our economic problems today, this points out to me how out of whack simple reimbursement for simply doing your job is. How did this greed or ungodly expectation of reward come about? It defies reason or common sense. Even the U.S. Postal Service, again (routinely billions “in the red”) is doling out six figure bonuses! Corporations that received billions in government bailout funds (to survive) have to “honor” contractual bonus obligations, supposedly. This is a dishonor to taxpayers, and just plain decency. Any executive worth having (after failure) would apologize and sheepishly accept his or her salary, expect no raise, and refuse any offered bonus, contract or not. Give those “bonuses” to the stockholders or employees or subtract it from the “red ink”. Whatever happened to “Character” and “Integrity”? These are “losses” we cannot afford to lose! Are you a “leader”, or just first in line - with your hand out?! Return to virtue and prosperity will follow.
